40 Secret Websites To Make Money: All You Need To Know

In the ever-evolving landscape of the digital age, the possibilities to earn money online continue to grow at an astonishing pace.

One great thing about the internet is that there are many secret websites to make money online, offering a range of exciting opportunities, from small side hustles to making some extra money up to establishing full-time online businesses.

Some of them you may have never heard of, and some of them you might be familiar with but probably weren’t aware of how people are using them for extra cash.

The sites that have the highest earning potential typically require a small investment, but there are still quite a few that will help you make money without putting up any capital.

So enough of the introductions; let’s get started. I’ve organized the list starting with the most lucrative sites first, in my opinion.

The 40 Best Secret Websites To Make Money In 2024

1. Fundwise Capital

Fundwise Capital provides personal and business loans. What I like about this program is that every individual and business needs a loan at some point.

Fundwise offers financing offers as low as 0% interest.

You can sign up as a partner and earn $700-1000 on average for every funded loan you send to them. Just 9-10 referrals per month can result in a six-figure paycheck.

Another great perk is their referral program, where you can refer others to their program and earn a commission for all funded loans your referrals send.

That provides passive income opportunities, which I’m a huge fan of. It’s the best way to build a business, in my opinion.

They also provide free training videos on how to be successful.

It’s an easy way to earn money from the comfort of your home without prior online business knowledge or a website, unlike most online money-making websites.

Ok so Amazon is certainly not a secret website but there are some unique ways people are using this online marketplace to generate an income online in 2023. Here are 3:

Selling On Amazon – Selling physical products on Amazon can be very lucrative. I know because it’s what I have been doing since 2015. It’s one of the best websites where you can make some serious money. You can learn how with this free training.

Publishing On KDP – If you’re a writer, you can earn money publishing and selling digital books on Amazon Kindle. You can get your book published on Amazon with the potential to earn money immediately. There’s a training to learn how to do this here.

Amazon Associates – You can also earn money by simply referring others to Amazon to buy products. It’s not the most lucrative as their commission rates are quite low, but you’re probably already doing this, just not getting paid for it.

Amazon Influencer Program – If you have a sizeable social media following, you can join Amazon’s influencer program and start earning commissions for video content created on their platform. It is similar to their associate’s affiliate program but gives you access to earning opportunities that the associate’s program does not offer.

3. Affilorama

Affilorama teaches you how to earn an income with affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing has huge earning potential and is the best way to make money online in 2023 in my opinion.

It works like this. You recommend a product or service and when someone purchases that product or service, you get paid a commission. In some cases, you can even get paid without them having to purchase the product or service as they pay per lead.

It’s a great way to automate a profitable online business without the hassle and overhead of running a business such as employees, customer service, etc. I highly recommend building a website for this, which I will cover in the next website I will cover in #4.

There are many affiliates that make thousands of dollars per month and even some super affiliates that make hundreds of thousands per month.

You can join here and learn for free and start your money-making journey at their website.

4. Clickfunnels

Clickfunnels is a service where you can create a marketing funnel or even a mini website. Funnels convert website traffic much better than traditional websites and are much easier to implement.

Every online marketer needs funnel building software like Clickfunnels, especially affiliate marketers.

What I like about this website is that they offer a free, unique and simple training where they show you how to copy existing, proven sales funnels that are generating massive profits and implement them for yourself using their software. It’s an easy way to make money by just duplicating existing, successful funnels.

It’s also recurring revenue so for every customer you send to them, you get paid a commission every month for the life of the customer. This can add up fast.

5. Fiverr

Fiverr started out as a place to find online contractors to perform basic services at a cost of $5.

Over time, it morphed into a platform where you can also find higher quality services that can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

You can use Fiverr by offering services for hire such as graphic design, data entry, videography, photography, and much more.

Or if you don’t want to perform physical services, you can also refer others to Fiverr as an affiliate and get paid when they purchase services.

6. Influencers

Influencer marketing is super-hot right now. As a social media influencer, you can get showered with free products and endorsements to review and promote various products and services.

Companies are paying big bucks to work with influencers because they know their traffic will convert better than any other type.

However, that won’t happen without a sizeable following so this secret website offers a course that teaches you how to create an online following that allows you to monetize through partnerships.

7. Share A Sale

ShareASale is an online affiliate marketing aggregator and one of the best sites to earn money from because of the wide variety of options.

Rather than hunting down companies that have affiliate programs, applying for approvals, and having to log in to dozens of separate affiliate dashboards, ShareASale compiles hundreds of affiliate programs under one platform, making it much easier to find, get approved, and start promoting offers.

They transfer your payments directly to your bank account via direct deposit.

This money-making platform has hundreds of programs you can apply to and start promoting offers and getting paid for your referrals.

You can learn more here.

8. Bluehost

Bluehost is a web hosting company that offers inexpensive web hosting. Every website needs hosting and every business needs a website, so every business needs this.

The best way is by creating your own WordPress website by purchasing one of their hosting plans which start at only $3 per month.

I highly recommend building your own website so you have full control and ownership over your content. It’s also been the most lucrative way to make money for me personally.

Owning your own money-making websites gives you considerable peace of mind versus being at the will of a large corporation like Amazon, Google or Facebook.

9. Thinkific

Thinkificallows you to create and sell online courses or give them away for free as a way to collect leads.

You can market to those leads later to sell products and services to after building a relationship with them.

You might think you don’t have knowledge that people will pay for but you would be surprised at some of the odd courses people have created that are generating a nice income with them.

There’s a market for everything, especially online.

You can accept payments through many options including Paypal.

10. Twitch

Twitch is a live-streaming video site for gamers. Believe it or not, these gamers watch other gamers play video games online, mostly in an attempt to learn tips and tricks and get better at their game of choice.

If you’re a gamer, you can earn money through monthly subscriptions to your Twitch stream, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing through recommendations.

11. Poshmark

Reselling used clothes on Ebay has been going on for a couple of decades now so it’s not really a secret.

But Poshmark carved out a niche by allowing individuals to resell brand name and designer clothes and accessories with a typically higher sales price versus Ebay.

Picking up designer clothing and accessories in local thrift stores and reselling on Poshmark can be a great way to earn money online in 2023.

Here’s a great YouTube video on how to sell on Poshmark.

12. Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie allows users to create a free account and earn rewards and cash for their opinions.

Basically, it allows you to take surveys and get paid for your time, as their website home page states.

It’s an easy way to earn extra cash online but taking surveys doesn’t pay much individually.

You need to focus on volume with this site to make extra money completing tasks as your income will vary depending on how many you can complete.

13. Nielsen Ratings

Nielsen has been around for quite some time and you’ve probably heard of them referenced when referring to television show ratings.

But what you probably don’t know is that you can sign up on their site for free, download their app and start earning money by just browsing the internet as you usually do and allowing Nielsen to collect data on your habits.

It’s easy money but you won’t get rich with just Nielsen Ratings alone.

14. Capital One

Capital One certainly isn’t a secret website. We’ve all seen their commercials on tv and the internet.

However, I stumbled across some individuals that were using it as a secret website to make money with and it was genius. So I have to include it in the list.

You can apply for a Capital One credit card for business here or as an individual here.

The business card offers twice the cash back so if you have a business, you definitely want to get that card instead of the personal one.

Once approved, you earn 1-2% cash back on all of your purchases, which probably won’t be a lot of money but here’s the secret tactic.

In your online dashboard, they will give you a referral link and you will get paid $100 for every person you send that opens a free account.

15. Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars pays you to complete surveys, play video games, read emails, and earn grocery cash.

It’s free and easy to sign up but just like Survey Junkie I mentioned above, you have to focus on volume as each individual action only pays $.50 to $5.

You won’t make any real money but it’s a great way to earn some extra cash.

16. Online Verdict

Online Verdictconducts legal focus groups for attorneys.

You can sign up to be a mock juror and earn money. Their website did not state how much but there was a testimonial on their home page from a user claiming they earned $250 in one day.

It’s one of many trusted sites to make money online.

17. Intellishop

Intellishop has been in business for over 20 years and pays individuals to conduct mystery shopping experiences with local businesses.

You can sign up to be a mystery shopper and not only get free products and services but get paid to report back with your experience.

There are many websites that offer mystery shopping opportunities so a quick Google search can uncover many other companies to work with.

We chose Intellishop for this list since they have been in business longer than most and has a good reputation.

18. Turo

Turois an online car rental site for individuals.

You can sign up for free and start renting out your vehicle(s) for extra cash.

Some people buy vehicles strictly for renting out on Turo and have made a full-time business out of it generating very nice incomes.

I’ve used Turo myself to rent vehicles much less than the big companies like Enterprise and National.

CNN also wrote a pieceon Turo and how they are the new AirBnB of cars.

19. Swimply

Swimply allows you to rent your pool by the hour.

It’s an interesting concept that isn’t for everyone but allows you to profit from your pool’s downtime.

The con is that you have total strangers in your backyard using your pool but if the tradeoff for cash is worth it to you, then it might be the right fit for you to earn extra money.

I checked the site for pools for rent near me in Florida. They ranged from $30-$100 per hour with $50 per hour being the average.

They take 15% of the sale so if you could rent your pool for $50 per hour for at least 8 hours per week, you would earn around $1400 per month.

20. RentAFriend

Ok so this seems a bit questionable but yes, it is legit and was featured on Fox News.

You can get paid to be someone’s friend on the RentAFriend website.

People are using this secret website for making money by going to parties, events, family get-togethers, and more.

Their homepage shows examples of how you can earn $20-50 per hour while getting free food, tickets, etc.

21. Neighbor

On the Neighbor website, it allows you to make money by renting out extra garage or unused space at your home.

Think of it as a DIY self-storage rental business.

Earn up to $400 per month on unused space by signing up on their site.

If you think you might want to invest in real estate, this could be a way to offset the costs as you can earn money from your unoccupied spaces.

22. Certified Field Associates

Certified Field Associates sounds like a boring company but they actually pay you to watch movies.

They are a data collection service for theaters and movie studios on what consumers think of their films and theaters.

They pay you to go to movie premieres. You won’t get rich at an average of just $10-$20 per hour but most movie buffs would do it for free so why not get paid?

23. Task Rabbit

Task Rabbit is a site where you can get paid to perform simple tasks for people in your area such as heavy lifting, furniture assembly, yardwork, moving help, and more.

You can sign up for free to become a tasker. Upon checking the site for my local area, the average hourly pay was $39.

You can choose to work per project as a contractor or explore actual job opportunities with legitimate companies.

25. Find My Profession

Find My Professionis a service that finds your dream career based on your skills and interests.

They handle everything from writing a killer resume for you, finding and applying to jobs for you as well as networking on LinkedIn to get interviews.

However, you will need some work experience and have marketable skills for this opportunity so make sure you understand their requirements before applying.

26. Get My Boat

If you have a boat, you can rent it out to individuals at GetMyBoat’s website.

Many boats rent for over $100 per hour so it can be a great way to earn extra income and pay for those high boat expenses.

Alamyis a stock photography website where you can upload your own photos and sell them.

They pay 50% of the sale price to the photographer and you can set your own prices.

28. Printify

Printify allows you to create and sell custom, print-on-demand t-shirts.

The nice thing about print-on-demand is that you don’t need to stock inventory, which can get overwhelming with different sizes, colors, designs, etc.

Don’t worry if you’re not an artist. You can easily purchase existing designs on Etsy and have them printed on shirts. Just be sure to check with the seller that they allow you to do that.

Or you can use a website like Fiverr to hire an artist to create a design for you that you own.

29. Sqribble

They have a considerable amount of content and templates in their database so you don’t need any special knowledge or skills to create ebooks to resell.

See #31 for where you can possibly sell them.

30. Quora

Quora is a question and answer website. There are thousands of questions posted daily from people looking for answers to all sorts of questions.

People are using this site to provide helpful answers to those questions and monetizing those answers.

For example, if someone posted a question on where to get a business loan for their startup and you were an affiliate for the Fundwise program, which I listed as #1 in this post, you could refer them and get paid $700-$1000 for everyone that takes advantage of your offer.

Quora is not a fan of posting direct affiliate links so this site is best utilized by having your own website as I recommended in #8, creating a post about the answer, and referring people to your blog post.

That way you get more visitors to your blog and more opportunities to offer them other products and services.

31. Constant Content

At Constant Content, you can sell blog posts, articles, ebooks, and other subject matter.

If you’re not an eloquent writer, do not worry. With AI writing software, you can have most if not all of the content written for you in just a few seconds.

You can also use a grammar checker like Grammarly to edit any mistakes.

With just a small amount of human editing, you can pump out multiple posts and articles per day from home.

After browsing their site, articles averaged $60-$100 and you receive 65% of the selling price.

32. Shopify

E-commerce is a massive industry and selling products on your own website is easy with Shopify.

The advantage of using Shopify versus Amazon, Walmart, or Etsy is that you own it and don’t have to worry about getting shut down by violating one of their vague, unknown policies.

You can get up and running fairly quickly by either dropshipping products you don’t own or have to keep in inventory, or your own products.

Building a successful brand and growing it to six or seven figures can be challenging but this course teaches you how, from someone that has done it multiple times.

33. Listverse

Listverse pays you $100 to create lists. For example, this list of secret websites to make money could have come from Listverse if I chose to hire them.

However, most lists are much shorter, more like a top 10, 15 or 20 list.

You submit the list you created and it has to be accepted to be paid but once again, you can use an AI software writing tool to create these lists fast and generate a nice income.

34. Raise

Raiseis a gift card exchange website where you can sell unwanted gift cards.

Popular gift cards sell for close to face value, usually around 10% less.

Many people make a business out of buying gift cards on Facebook Marketplace or other local sites and reselling them on Raise.

35. Salehoo

Salehoo is a product sourcing website where you can find products to sell online at wholesale pricing.

The nice thing about Salehoo is that they have already vetted the suppliers so you don’t have to worry about any issues with quality or dishonesty from suppliers.

You can have the products shipped to you directly to resell on your own Shopify store, Amazon, Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Walmart, etc. or you can dropship them, which is a very popular business model.

With dropshipping, the supplier ships directly to your customer so you don’t have to worry about the expense and hassle of purchasing, storing and shipping items.

They also have a complete online training portal where you can learn all the ins and outs of creating and running a successful dropshipping business.

36. Decluttr

Declutter is a website where you can sell old electronics like phones, laptops, tablets, game consoles, media like movies, and more.

Many people use Decluttr to sell electronics they sourced through thrift stores, yard sales, and other local outlets.

37. Rover

If you love pets, Rover allows you to offer pet-sitting services in your home.

They take a 20% fee so as an example, in my area the average rate is $35 per day.

If you were booked 5 days a week with 2 pets, you would earn around $1100 per month.

I think a great idea to double your income with Rover would be to learn dog training and offer that as an add-on to your pet-sitting services.

38. Cracked

Cracked began as a humor website but has evolved into mainstream content as well with many “top 10” or “best of” articles.

They accept article submissions for review and consideration for publishing with no experience needed.

If your article is accepted, they pay $100-$250 per article.

I think you could use an inexpensive AI writing software to do most of the writing for you and submit several articles per day.

39. Fluid Truck

If you have a pickup truck, cargo van, or box truck, you can rent it out on Fluid Truck.

I checked the site and in my city, there are no pickup trucks available, which seems to be a huge opportunity.

At $75 per day, which is what vans are renting for, you could make up to $2,000 per month per truck if you were booked every day.

Imagine having 3 or 4 trucks.

40. Sitter City

SitterCity is an online platform that matches parents who need babysitting with vetted babysitters.

If you enjoy children, you can sign up as a babysitter and earn extra income or make it a full-time business.

While browsing the site, it seems the average rate is $18-$25 per hour for my area.

Wikipedia claims that the national average babysitting rate was $22.68 per hour for one child.
